Kindersley to Craik is 270km. Yet Kindersley is only 60 km from Eston, 140 for Dinsmore and 150 for Kyle. With the East/West divisions that makes one too many for the West. That’s where Rosetown comes in, there’s talk of them going to the Crossroads. Personally I think they should stay but on the other hand if they think they can better compete there it may be best for their team. Should Rosetown stick it out in the SVHL? Does Kindersley enter?

Could be, but is the juice worth the squeeze in this case? Does that affect the population limitation on the league?

Could be, but is the juice worth the squeeze in this case? Does that affect the population limitation on the league? Definitely needs to be thought about. At 4,600 Kindersley is almost double of Rosetown (2,450) the current biggest town in the SVHL. The Valley is historically a C/D league using similar league rules as to those provincial categories. With the exception of Loreburn the past few years (unsuccessfully) and Kenaston this year the leagues teams tend to enter those provincial categories. It is something to take into consideration steeball, good point and thank you for the input.

Has Kindersley applied to join the SVHL and If so why do they want to join? And their huge centre to draw players from and their dep derp pockets could quickly become an unfair advantage. Lots to think about, but the travel shouldn’t be 1 of them. Yes it would be nice for Eston for a close game rivalry but I’m curious as to what way Eston voted when Davidson and Craik applied to join.

I have no idea if they have applied to join I have just seen rumblings on this forum about the possibility.
