Rookie is tough, probably A. Linnen on raymore or geibel or Henry on balgonie, seemed like those guys were always committed. Lady bing who cares. Goalie is a good one also, from a viewing stand point holtby is always good, got left out to dry quite a bit tho. Wapps and kilgs also good, but I’d go waps or holtby. MVP local should be nuels. Might be blanking on some guys. Also one of those raymore guys deserved mvp, Miller or sare. Raymore would’ve been nothing without those guys. Plus sare had 21 goals. Berny this year has had the most support around him through all the years. Still had solid year tho. Is a toss up

Byng- Sare Rookie - Neuls Local MVP - Neuls Goalie- No idea. Thought Hodson would’ve gotten that. Also surprised Berny won MVP. Trapp is a solid choice for top D man

Trapp is a solid choice for top D man neuls can’t win rookie of the year, played in the WHL for like 4 years, to win rookie of the year you have to play less than 30 sjhl or higher games

Heywood maybe got snubbed though. Best player that nobody talks about. ya I like him a lot he played forward and defence this year. Heywood being forward/ D probably kept him out of running for Top D. Top 5 Teams had a solid Top D man they could have put in the running. Rookie of the year- is a toss up. Goalie - Wapple , Kilgore and Holtby MVP - seems like Berny got picked due to being the most known… If you take away any of Raymores 4 Elites they probably are bottom 2 team, you take away Berny, the Bronx’s are probably still top 3 team… that’s just a fact. What’s the local MVP qualifications? Should probably be Trapp or Neuls

Top D IMO should have been fisher from Grenfell with Lumsden , Balc , Raymore and Milestone putting forth a D man The other awards are all dicey. We gotta start looking at these awards as Valuable to there teams. For example I’m not putting Hodson as top goalie , because if Holtby, Kilgs or Wapps is on Balc they have the best #s. Good league tho, might be the deepest in Sr hockey.

Only 5 clearing… Is that to prove how tight the league is? Also agree on Fisher.

Trapp has more of an impact in the D zone though. Offensively he’s meh. If we’re looking at the goalie who means the most to their team it is Holtby. On a good team he’d be talked about as maybe the best in the province. Kilgore was just ok this year and Wapple had his ups and downs.

Any dman who is a point per in any league is not meh offensively. Smh.
