I could see Unity wanting to go to Crossroads to be competitive but will they be let in, Crossroads is more designed to be local and safe and Unity this year is showing a not so safe play. Kindersley wont go anywhere unless the league does fold, Macklin, Edam and Wilkie have expressed absolutely zero desire to go anywhere. Hafford as long as they maintain numbers in players have stated they are staying because current roster and any roster they try to put together will not fit TR rules. Rosetown I cannot speak on dont know. Biggar will not be accepted into SaskPrairie, way to good and have to many imports / non locals.

Hearing rumours Unity to Crossroads Kindersley to SV Macklin/Edam/Wilkie to SaskAlta Hafford to Twin Rivers Rosetown to Crossroads Biggar to Sask Prairie Thoughts??? Geographic wise, all makes sense although I wonder if some SVHL teams would balk at Kindersley joining, adding more travel? I would suggest Biggar to the SVHL given they have been a past member. Hafford perhaps looks at rejoining the SPHL?

Rumors swirling are just the opposite that I am hearing, SaskAlta teams are applying to play in the SWHL so that the rules they are all skirting will not be a problem.

Rumours/speculation... Unity, Rosetown, Eatonia ---> Crossroads Walburg, P Hill, Lashburn, Meadow Lake, Hillmond ---> Sask West So the Sask West will just turn into the new/old NSRHL

Hearing rumours Unity to Crossroads Kindersley to SV Macklin/Edam/Wilkie to SaskAlta Hafford to Twin Rivers Rosetown to Crossroads Biggar to Sask Prairie Thoughts??? Don’t know Hafford’s roster super well but I’m assuming it would need dramatic changes to fit the TRHL rules. Unless they have lots of guys retiring/leaving I can’t see them going the tr. Also for a team that consistently joins provincials this would most likely make it more difficult.

They only enter provincials combined with Edam so they could quit that too.

Hafford has 9 players on their roster that would be considered elites, you can only have 4 in the TR, there lies the problem.

Leaves lots of players Thank you I understand the concept of basic math. The point I’m trying to get at is I don’t think they would want to get rid of 5 of their strongest players just to join an inferior league. Unless 5 of those elites already have plans to retire or play somewhere else.

Hafford has 9 players on their roster that would be considered elites, you can only have 4 in the TR, there lies the problem. 23-5=18. Leaves lots of players Hawks have 23 on their roster maybe, but lots of night have 10 skaters, names mean nothing, bodies are needed. My guess is hawks will disperse between other teams, swhl needs to be retooled by poor decision making by the league, swhl team really needs to be in nb over hafford, that would be a better fit, due to the power house redberry team being formed in Blaine lake.

My guess to is the better imports from Hafford head to edam/other teams in that league. The rest go to Blaine lake or teams in the twin rivers. Have also heard that walburg is going with a more local team and trying to get in the Sask prairie.

Rumours/speculation... Unity, Rosetown, Eatonia ---> Crossroads Walburg, P Hill, Lashburn, Meadow Lake, Hillmond ---> Sask West Heard Unity voted 18-1 in favour of staying in the SWHL. Must not be sick of losing yet
