I don't think it was referring to anything about the Raymore effort being embarrassing but more so the fans throwing beer cans at the Monarch players at the end of the game. Would like to hear a response back now. That was bullshit. Whoever did that needs to represent the fans better. The Refs were terrible but not an excuse for that. Raymore Fan hear, I did not toss any cans on the ice nor did i encourage our fans to. There was a post made last night on our Facebook and Twitter giving an apology. There was a select few that made some poor choice's and we know excatly who they are. Good on the few Boys from the Rockets to tell these few fans to smarten the up and also on cleaning the cans up. I know they were dissapointed in the few involved as they were asking for names themselfs.

Old Rockets beat the New Rockets. Has to sting a little. If Sask Hockey sends officials that like to put their hand up in the Wynyard / Balcarres series it will be a long night as both teams play to the line or a little over it. Could be busy night for the score keepers keeping up with all the penalties. Let the boys play.

I belive there was two home town boys on the ice last night making calls or missing them depending on what team they wanted to win and it was clear who they were going for.

It’s provincials you clown only officials who can be local are linesmen and if you didn’t know they can’t call penalties! (Other than TMM)

As a fan of neither of these teams I have to say this was a great series. Watched 2 of the 3 games ( 1 and 3). Packed barns, 2 good teams and close games. Most likely one of the best series in all of A. Would have liked to see more 5 on 5 in game 3 but that’s how stripes called it. One in particular. 1 big miss was the glove pass on zone entry that resulted in goal 3 for wynyard. One player reached for it and it hit his glove and the player next to him touched it first coming across the blue line. I don’t want to be a ref, just an observation made with a goal being scored directly after.

Officiating is the X factor that all teams have to accept.

The Wynard hometown liney was staring at the puck outside the blue. Directly resulted in a goal. I don’t know a lot of people making $100 for 2 hours of work. Do your job better, they called off a Raymore goal to. It was the most one sided reffing I’ve seen. There is a picture of it floating around, i would be very embarrsed to say i won the series with all the help they got.

Travel sometimes 1.5hrs there. 1.5 hrs back. Some games go to OT. Some games have reports to do. So let’s say 3hrs travel. 2 and a half hour game. It’s not all it’s hyped up to be. Oh and I don’t think people come to your job and yell at you while you’re doing it either. So many fans think refs flip a coin before they go out there to decide who is going to win the game. If it was easy, everyone would do it and we wouldn’t have a ref shortage.
