Wapple kicked aside 48/50 against Wynyard.
Is he the best goalie in senior hockey?

Im gunna say half those shots were on the PK aswell, refs seemed to like seeing a rocket in the box for a good part of the game.

I would say we got it all wrong back in the WHL draft days, if we knew then what we KNOW now, we would have drafted Shields before Wapple. The big question with Wapple is IF he will show up, hes probably riding the high of seeing 50 some shots last night, went straight to his head and tonight he will give up 6-7. Maybe not possible but you put Shields behind Hobbs and Forsberg in this years A provincials, Wapples name wouldn't even be discussed. and no I'm not from Wynyard, but an avid fan of this WHL talent in senior hockey, just my two cents.

Everyone needs to take waps cock out of there mouth. He’s good but He isn’t even the best in his own league. I’d put holbty and maybe even Kilgore above. Best goalie in senoir? Crazy

People love ripping on Wapple for a variety of reasons but at the end of the day he is a very strong goalie. I would take Holtby over him but it is close. |

Im standing behing Wapps on this one. Entering the year with a brand new team only having three guys that played together before. Ya she's gunna be shakey at the start and it was. Once the team came together they started rolling and wapps was a large part of this with the experiance and letting the boys in the room know what needs to be done. Dont get me wrong Holtby was in the same situation but the standing say wapps would take it this year (for the qv anyways). If Raymore adds more depth and have this young young great core to build around i have a funny feeling wapps will be in the discussion for years to come yet. So more less i stand with the maybe guy closer to the top lol. Next year who knows we could be taking about a nobody from who knows where on a completly diffrent team or league.

Not disagreeing with the Waps comments at all but I think Wynyard needs to find a way to get Hobbs brother, Declan for next year and then I feel it is theirs to lose! Now granted I have not seen him play this year so not sure what his give a sh*t meter runs at but I think he is in that running!
