Game report from a Spitfire fan. Great game. Back and forth. 5-600 ppl treated to a fast and physical hockey game. Extremely physical right from the opening face off. Well reffed game, both goalies were solid and made some highlight reel plays. Difference maker for Kyle was Stevenson on D, a bear in his own end and scored the tying and OT winners on rocket shots.

I don’t get the chirp. Grenfell entered into B this year same as every other year. There was no B so they were given a choice where to go since their population allowed C. So chose C.
Your chirp also doesn’t make sense, because in Sr hockey division doesn’t always mean strength. Every year there are C/D teams who would spank A teams. Not all, but some: A,B,C D doesn’t guarantee calibre.
Kyle would compete in A, same as Grenfell. It should be another 50/50 toss up on Saturday. Just like last Saturday was.

Was at Game 1 in Grenfell and it was one of the better senior hockey games I’ve seen in a while. Fast, back and forth, and lots of hitting. By the sounds of it, Game 2 was very similar. Hopefully this level of hockey continues on. Kyle and Davidson will be a doozy as well.

Easy there Elk fan. Kyle has a good team and a strong chance of winning, but no way they steam roll Davidson. I see these teams pretty even with Offence, defence and goaltending. Kyle has the edge with Pie maybe.
