Paying players to play Senior Hockey is bush league. It’s got out of hand province wide. Waskewitch hasn’t played since Dec.9th according to the SaskAlta website? Lashburn from what I have seen has done it the right way, built a solid team around a very good, local core group of players. The crowds that I’ve seen at the rink are some of the best in the province, the rink itself is top notch and they have a swanky new dressing room that was built last season. If I was still playing senior hockey I would give my left nut to play there! Top end teams with players that have played high level hockey attract other top end players. Some teams just don’t understand that concept and feel like they need to pay players to play, that’s why Walburg is sitting at home. The league is way better off without them.

Okay, I don’t think it’s fair that lashburn is getting shit on for “allegedly paying players”. If we’re gonna point fingers, some better be pointed at paradise hill also. If teams don’t like getting shit pumped 16-0(elk point) they just need to get better.

Better start doing some PR work now to find a new league to join next year. We should have never let the Sask teams into this league, you’re ruining it for everyone.

Haha just vote out all the good teams! That will be real good for the league. The Hill, Lashburn, Wainwright, Hillmond, Dewberry, Meadow Lake are the only solid teams in this league. A couple of the Alberta teams I have watched would have a hard time beating a local Rec hockey team. And these are the teams with managers voicing opinions on who should be in the league and who shouldn’t, ridiculous.

Heard LashVegas is trying to get into the SaskWest now knowing their time is up in the SaskAlta with all their “non-paying players”

How do you administer a league based only on individual team finances?
There is no constitutional restrictions on drawing players from Lloyd, or distance, or number of ex Jr’s. Facts that can be proven/disproven.
The only rule is don’t pay any more than “out of pocket expenses”. How on earth does anyone audit other people’s business? Better yet who would want to?

Your ed! Lashburn’s done it again, couple more imports. Must be a pretty penny that Getzy’s giving the Saskalta president. What a joke! Buddies from Barrie, Ontario coming over to play for ing Lashburn and for free. Wow! He’s wasting his time in that dump of a town anyway, still ain't gonna win a championship there. This leagues embarrassing!!!
