LeRoy has taken a leave, Watrous appears to be heading towards their worst season in years (maybe ever?). Which team made the better choice?

Personally I think a bad season is better than no season. No hockey means little to no money for the club

What was watrous suppose to do if they took a year off? They had their core local guys. I could be wrong but didn’t 5 guys pack it in. Most with 10+ years of senior. Time for a new group of locals to learn

Time for a new group of locals to learn Agreed. I think they made the right decision and agree that having a losing team is better than having no team. The local Kinsmen club can still sell burgers and coffee and raise some money even if Watrous is getting blown out. This also gives several guys a chance to play that may not have had the opportunity in the past. |

Leroy had a lot of local players and they weren’t old. You’re telling me they all quit?? Seems strange.
