A new year a new number 1.
1. Wilkie Outlaws-Since the last update the Outlaws have stayed undefeated and, in doing so, beat some of their biggest competition in Kindersley and Edam. The biggest question left in the regular season is can the Outlaws run the table.
2. Wadena Wildcats-Normally a convincing loss may drop a team down further however since the last update the Cats did beat Watrous and Foam Lake before dropping the game Saturday to Watrous. They are still 12-1 while scoring the most gpg and giving up the least gpg.
3. Moosomin Rangers-Based on a convincing win vs Redvers and taking a high scoring game vs Carlyle the Rangers make the biggest jump this week. Trotter and Holloway continue to dominate. Time will tell if the more defensive teams like Redvers can find a way to shut them down.
4. Kenaston Blizzard-Wins vs Loreburn and Kyle see the Blizz up a spot this week.
5. Davidson Cyclones-They beat Delisle and did come back to salvage a loser point at home vs Central Butte but they drop due to that loss.
6. Foam Lake Flyers-They beat Lanigan in their teddy bear toss game but then lost to Wadena this past weekend. They play Drake and Leroy this weekend but the weekend after that they play Watrous and Wadena which will give the Flyers a chance to move up on this list.
7-8. Canora Cobras and Milestone Flyers-As I said before to be the best you have to beat the best. Well the Cobras and Flyers did just that in their respective leagues on the weekend by the Cobra's beating the previously unbeaten Tigers and the Flyers laid a licken on the Broncs 10-2.
9. Dinsmore Dynamo's-They have only played Eston since the New Year and came away with a 4-1 win.
10. Rocanville Tigers-The Tigers stay on the list due to their record and also because they were down 5-0 to Canora 15 min into a game but were able to right the ship and keep the game respectable.
Other teams under consideration: Kyle, Hodgeville, Coronach, Gull Lake, Shaunavon, Paradise Hill, Willow Cree, Meota
