Watrous has 9 guys jr A or higher Craik 2 nhl and at least 4 jr A. Plus several b Loreburn has at at least 6 junior And this only increases come provincial time. Im pretty sure last season in Provincial C the Davidson, Redvers and Kenaston teams were basicly all junior level players, that saw any ice. 14-18 on each team.

This was in the C bracket Not at all the case...~50% of the teams are not interested in entering provincials. It is not that big a deal to those teams despite the rules these days being much more advantageous to bolster lineups. And why is it an issue that C teams have ex NHL, WHL, CIS, SJHL, NCAA, etc players come home to play on the local team or those locals who have connections bring in imports?

It’s not a problem that those guys go home to play. It’s other teams who have tough time picking up elite imports due to location/homegrown talent/lack of $$$ that know if they entered their league team they would get smoked. I’m on the side of we need new rules in provincials where teams can enter their league teams and still have a chance to have good games. And not run into a kenaston in C who like the guy said 14 ex jr players. It’s awesome kenaston has so much talent not slighting them it’s impressive. Just like to see more teams enter provincials

Just like to see more teams enter provincials SHA can try all they want to shoehorn more teams in provincials...it won't matter given ~50% of the senior teams have zero interest in provincials, it doesn't mean that much to them. What means more to them is keeping the team sustainable and help keep the rink open. Shellbrook, Shaunavon, Nokomis, Tisdale, Unity, Raymore, Cupar, Kelvington, Strasbourg, Luesland Hague, Dalmeny, Gull Lake, Waldheim, Dodsland...just a few of the communities who no longer have a team or periodically enter, they consistently entered in the past. Provincials are not for every senior team in Saskatchewan...and that is ok!

That being said SHA can only do so much or it is just shoe horning just for the sake of it.
