The league constitution is posted on the website and I couldn’t actually find anything in there about paying players. There is no league rule saying teams can't, there was a agreement in place a long time ago that all teams agreed not to pay players. All the people that were there for that agreement are probably now gone. |

I’m not even against the payment of players, it kind of makes sense, but there has to be some other way to try and maintain a bit of parody in this league, because this season has been kinda boring with Wadena being so untouchable in my opinion, no idea how to make that happen but parody makes for a better league in my opinion. |

They are certainly the best team but playoffs might be interesting I don't think there was ever a league rule in the constitution regarding the payment of players but rather a "Gentlemen's Rule" which everyone agreed on but likely didn't follow. Every single Senior Team is paying for something so that the players can play so you can't say "We aren't Paying". Parody would make every league better but would be difficult to accomplish unless SHA stepped in and set the constitutional rules so that every league was the same..... And That Ain't Ever Happening..... |

What happened there? Looks like Reich will be gone at the worst possible time (playoffs/provincials) a gross for fighting a team official usually warrants a lengthy suspension.
There is a video on Twitter but it doesn’t show much, or why it happened.

Good on the 9 skaters (and goalie) still showing up for Naicam. The guys leaving you hanging like that should be embarrassed with themselves. The outcome may not change a lot but playing a hockey game with less than 10 skaters sure isn’t fun.

It sucks when a team can't get guys to show up especially late in the season. The ones who show up regardless are what keeps senior going. Coaches and staff included.
