Do they take into consideration when they’re making up the draws about the distance the teams have to drive for the first round or do they try to keep Teams from playing in there same division as much as possible. And not end up playing within there division against each other if possible. Or do they just pull the names out of a hat kind of thing 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼

Or do they just pull the names out of a hat kind of thing 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼 With the cost of fuel and bussing they should take into account distance, but usually they try to make sure you don't play someone in your division. McClintock makes the draws. |

I believe Kelly said last year they look at the draws from the past couple years then piece it all together from that. They do not like matching up teams in same league unless they have to.

During the one bracket reveal with the Nooner guys, Kelly explained their thought process behind the draws. They take distance into consideration, they don't like to match up teams from the same league. They consider past matchups as well. A few other criteria I can't remember off the top of my head. But yes, it's all thought out, not a random draw.

Provincials are "north and south " but it's geographicly more east and west kelly tries to match teams that are in different leagues and try not to make same teams play eachother year after year. But things don't always work out that way and you can't make everyone happy. Teams need to understand what there getting themselves into.
