All the imports in the league must be sweating when Shannon Briske steps on the ice at 49 and makes more of a difference than most guys getting $700 a game.

Couple a veteran pickups for the Canucks last night…. Briske and Scott Mantyka. Briske did fine out there and scored a nice goal to.
9-5 watrous final. And could have been a lot worse but Shannon’s kid played very well in net for the Canucks. Drake missing roy the scheidt bros and a few other dmen, Watrous missing smith, Lamotte, s klassen and hounsell. Chippy game. Helm and Johnston both had hat tricks, drake scoring was spread around.

Shannon 49 and Mantyka 53. That has to be a record for age on a d pairing lol. Briske looked fine honestly, Mantyka didn’t play as much. With drake always being short I wouldn’t be surprised if he played a few more.

Shannon moved the puck better than any Dman on the ice last night and potted a goal. Could still play and contribute for sure.
