These teams r pretty close match if they both have a full roster carlyle was missing couple key guys last nite could b some pretty good hockey at playoff time with moosomin bienfait carlyle Redvers Carnduff any one of these teams could get it done if they r healthy 🤷🏼

Great game last nite played before a smaller than expected crowd due to the poor roads and the flu bug going around here in the Southeast. (Pot of gold only $585.) Redvers missing Brady Gaudet and Kenton Miller (injuries) and Carlyle missing Nathan Deck (work) and starting goaltender Landon Audet. Cameron Pateman was a replacement goalie pickup for the Cougars and he and Rocket tender Thomas Bauche played stellar.
Period scores were 0-0 and 3-2 Redvers. Both teams killed off long 5 on 3 power plays in the first. The line of Kopeck, Hoff and Miller scored the first four goals for Redvers and all ended up with three points each. The Cougar top line of Morrisseau, Bird, and Kovalenko had a combined 1 assist. Rocket Dylan Smallchild played great on the point with a goal and an assist. Newcomer D-Man Kurtis Luke for the Cougars scored twice and was the team's best player. Ben Johnstone again played D and played well.
The top veteran line of Redvers is still number one in the league although I haven't seen Buddy and Trotter in Moosomin. Redvers played harder nosed than Carlyle and had a lot of traffic in front of their net. Carlyle had as many shots but many were mainly from the perimeter. Rockets were totally deserving of the win and were the better squad.
Kudos to Referees Murray Gray and Dean Barath. They called a great game and there was no chippy after the whistle stuff. Jesse Gabrielle and Blair Toms on their best behaviour on this nite.
