Some changes this week. As I said margins are razor thin and many teams play each other so expect movement up and/or down.
1. Wadena Wildcats-Did nothing to lose their spot. A solid come from behind win last week in Leroy after a Shain Scheschuk hat trick.
2. Dinsmore Dynamos-On the backs of their impressive 7-2 win vs Davidson this week the Dynamos make a big jump this week. Also beat Eston on the weekend. A mid week tilt vs Kyle this week who is always a contender in the SVHL.
3. Wilkie Outlaws-Hammered Unity 13-2 in their only game this weekend. Looking ahead to next weekend has Kindersley in Wilkie Friday night.
4. Rocanville Tigers-4-0 to start the year in the Sask East. Handily beat Ituna this weekend while their other game was cancelled.
5. Moosomin Rangers-The Big 6 leaders won 7-2 in their only game this weekend. Is it me or does everyone seem to have a light schedule? Gone are the days of Friday-Saturday most weekends I suppose.
6. Milestone Flyers-Still lead the QVHHL. Unfortunately (for them) they lost their best player to pro. Beat Bethune 6-4 since he left.
7. Kenaston Blizzard/Davidson Cyclones-Hard to chose between these 2 teams so I'm not going too. Davidson beat Kenaston in their matchup but then lost to Dinsmore. Kenaston won a tight game 7-6 vs Craik.
8. Grenfell Spitfires-Off to a good start in the always tough QVHHL. Beat Balgonie this past weekend and go head to head with preseason Favourites Balcarres on Tuesday this week.
9. Wainright Rustlers-Another 2 wins for the SaskAlta leaders this weekend. Biggest news out of the league was Still St. Walburg getting the boot for "player compensation" does another team in the league try and snatch up their players? for free of course.
10. Meota Combines-Div 3 entry-4-0 in the one of the most entertaining leagues in the province. Will they run the table?
