My top 10 for this week, It was a tough week as Wilkie's only game was cancelled, Kenaston won a 1 goal game, interesting games in the QVHHL but here goes:
1. Wadena Wildcats-Statement win in Wynyard this weekend. A lot of hype around Wynyard this fall but people were sleeping on the B Champs. They added 3 guys to an already stellar team. They walked in to Wynyard without Statchuk, Sim, Allen, Derkach and beat them going away.
2. Wilkie Outlaws-Didn't play as they had mechanical issues at the rink. Still 5-0 can't take that away from them.
3. Kenaston Blizzards-Beat Loreburn 7-6. A bit of a surprise how tight the game was. Not that Lorebun isn't a good team but still.
4. Davidson Cyclones-Actually ahead of the Blizz in the standings at 4-0. They play Wednesday and that will show which team is the early on favourite in the SV. Davidson is acclimating very well to the league and beat Kyle this weekend.
5. Watrous Winterhawks-Also beat Wynyard this week have them here and Wadena on top mainly due to the score in the game. But a win is a win!
6. Milestone Flyers-Went into Balcarres and came out with a 5-4 win. lead by former NHL'er Jayden Halbgewachs
7. Rocanville Tigers-Spoiled the Theodore Buffs banner raising with a 7-6. Lead the Sask East at 3-0
8. Moosomin Rangers-The Big 6 leaders hammered Wawota in their only game this weekend.
9. Dinsmore/Wainright-They have done nothing to remove themselves from this list.
10-Willow Cree Chiefs-4-0 to start the season. Impressive atmosphere at their games. They have made their games must see for more than just top notch hockey
I'll be honest the differences are razor thin between the majority of the top teams in the province.
Other teams in the discussion this week: Foam Lake, Kindersley, Central Butte, Meota, Jansen, Grenfell,
