This top 10 list takes into account the strength of a teams schedule, expectations for the teams and how they have played in their games. Had I done one before the season it may like considerably different.
1. Wilkie Outlaws- Off to a 5-0 start in the very strong Sask West hockey league. Haven't played Kindersley yet though. And Ryan Keller and Garret Cameron haven't even suited up yet.
2. Kenaston Blizzards- Arguably the best team in the province. 3-0 in one of the top leagues in the province. Somes new faces that have played well as Levi Cable has 6 goals already.
3. Wadena Wildcats-Defending B champs have only gotten stronger as they picked up Josh Sim. only 1 game so far but a 7-2 win against Lanigan.
4. Balcarres-Loaded with talent. Hard to compare leagues as the import rules in the QVHHL allow for some loaded teams. Don't be surprised if QVHHL teams rise throughout the year.
5. Watrous Winterhawks-Looks like Watrous has reloaded and could be back to the powerhouse from years back. They beat Drake in their only game of the year.
6. Wainwright Rustlers-4-0 already on this young season. Went into Lashburn and came out with an 8-4 win.
7. Rocanville Tigers-Wins against Cote and Langenburg have them leading the South division in the Sask East hockey league. Tons of talent entering the league with Rocanville bringing in Taylor Thompson and Canora added a few high end guys. Parity should be the word in the the top of this league.
8. Moosomin Rangers-Have a couple of the best players in the province in Holloway and Trotter. Time will tell if that will carry them past the complete teams in Redvers, Carnduff and Caryle.
9. Dinsmore Dynamos-Brought in some new talent to aid the strong core of locals. One year removed form a provincial title and looked to return to that glory.
10. Tisdale Ramblers-Div 3 entry. Absolutely hammered on the new Nipawin Knights and PP. Mario Fortier already has 23 points in 3 games. While no sustainable still impressive.
Other teams in the discussion:
Foam Lake, Davidson, Kindersley, Milestone, Central Butte, Willow Cree.
Just how I see it early on. Some teams have played 5 games and lots haven't started the season yet.

Kenaston isn't as good this year. They're definitely missing Lewchuk and Haines. Their defence and especially goaltending have taken a step backwards.
Also, why the does Kenaston have a "president", manager, "assistant manager", coach, assistant coach, and now a "trainer". Who the do these guys think they are? This is ing senior hockey, not big the league's fellas. They better add a goalie coach too, because the kid they got in the net can't make one!

Lishchynski isn’t a step back from Haines - defense hasn’t changed. Peterson is definitely less of a goalie than Lewchuk but it doesn’t matter if the play is never in your end. When their forwards come to play they are dominant because they have now played together for quite a few years and move the puck way better than any other senior team out there. They are a semi-pro team playing in a senior hockey league.

Lewchuk bailed them out more than a few times over the years. He is going to be missed more than the guys in Kenaston are going to admit. They'll realize it by the end of this season. Mark my words!

Oh wait a minute...Kenaston is going to be playing some legit teams again in C or D? While you are correct...the theme on here seems to be that Kenaston should go A to really test themselves, despite them having faced some tests along the way over the last two seasons winning D and C.

They should enter B this season then go for A next season. That would be some accomplishment if they won every category in four. years

Kenaston always looks vulnerable during the regular season and and have laid a couple eggs in playoffs/provincials as well. But when the chips are down they haven't lost a game they needed in 2 years. Lewchuk was always lokked at as a weak spot but came up big when they needed him. Their goaltending is their only question mark. I"m not betting against them in whatever category they enter or in league playoffs. Learned that lesson.

I suppose that’s true. I’ve never heard of a team having zero players from the Community where they are based.
