For 1, balc. Doesn’t charge admission so therefore bigger crowds does not in fact create more money, 2, raymore and lumsden are paying big money too. Probly more than balc but I could be mistaken.

Ya and the Mets and dodgers payroll was higher than the Yankees last year, but it was the Yankees who set the tone over the last decade and drove prices up. And that’s why everyone hates the Yankees.

Pay to play or pipe down. You think an aged out junior or former pro cares about dawning the Bison crest because you had a little success a decade ago? Lot of players have families, time is money and all you do is complain. Go out and fundraise a little in the off season or shut up. Not like you have to pay mileage 15 minutes out of the city pal. Stay salty |

Lots of businesses in Balgonie, Pilot Butte and White City that fundraising shouldn’t be a problem. Not expecting guys to play because of the amazing ‘Bison’ legacy and being surprised when they ask to be paid for their talent after a days work. Or maybe recruit some more character players that can be of use recruiting. Not backstabbing talking down upon the ones you do have in the off season. It’s no secret you guys took your ball and went home once you couldn’t field a championship team. Maybe you’d still be in the running if you didn’t pack up shop after a couple off years but hey, stay pissed on Twitter about how it’s everyone else’s fault. |

Right there with wapps. balgonie will be fine. No issues with a team turning down guys who only want money to play. lets be serious, balcarres/odessa/vibank bronco/bruins have no one from Balcarres so they need to pay, no other option. Last year for that bullahit as they have to take balcarres population next year. has the league added the asterisk to the trophy yet? Straker lives in regina. Should have been an import. |

On the other side of the coin, they are keeping a senior hockey team alive in a small town which is to be commended. Do they overpay guys? For sure. But with how the local rules are in the league now, they do have locals even if none live in the town. Same can be said for many other teams in QVHHL.
