The Cougars have posted their roster on the Big Six Hockey League website. There are a lot of new and old players. Star defenseman Nathan Deck returns as does import forward Koby Morrisseau, who played with the Cougars in 2021/22 but didn't play last year. Tony Kinistino of OCHAP played regular season last year and was joined in the Cougar provincial run by Valdez Bear and Ron Cote. All three are now on the Cougar regular season roster. A couple of new names. Forward Boston Bird is 22 years old and played in the MJHL. He has been designated as an import. Nikita Kovalenko is from the Ukraine and recently moved to Carlyle. He is a defenseman who played on his country's national team, as per Elite Prospects. Roster looks impressive and on paper the Cougars should be fielding a strong squad. Johnstone, Rose, Turgeon, Shaw, Lequyer, and others are returning. Landon Audet is returning as the number one goaltender.

The cougars r going to b a favorite for the big six title this yr. It will b interesting probably 4 teams that could b in the running imo with the pickups by the cougars they will have a very good shot but as u all kn it depends on injuries and how teams gel during the regular season and of course coaching and the biggest issue of course goal tending down the stretch will b key.

Redvers are the favorites until proven otherwise. Heads above the rest of the league last year. Will have to see if anyone else's additions narrow that gap. |

Carlyle loading up, going to be hard to keep local players happy. Over/under on how many years until the team folds again due to no local support? Looks like history repeating itself

That’s the way senior hockey is these days if u don’t bring in players u get no fans and no body wants to watch there home team so the rink is empty and no revenue it’s that simple

Deck can’t play 60 minutes a night. And there’s a big drop off on the blue line after him. Cote is off the roster. They’re going to score some goals, but they’re going to give some up too |

They found out the letter writing of the provincials was the backup goalie of oxbow from a video recording at the rink 🙈🤔
