Sounds like 2 divisions
Ass town, Hodgeville, Gravelbourg and Glentworth
Yellow Grass, Roleau, Cornach, Radville and Avonlea
Anybody know why some of those teams don’t enter the Big 6 hockey league?

Why would you want them to? The Notekue is now basically 2 leagues in 1. This is awesome for the league, the rivalries between small towns will be great

I asked wether anybody knows why they didn’t join leagues that were closer. Or why yellow grass left the big 6 to drive 3 hours for a league game in Hodgeville or Glentworth

the drive won't be much worse than going to Moosomin, Wawota or K/W. for Yellowgrass, anything except Midale and Bienfait was close to a 2 hr drive.

As a Big Six hockey fan, thank-you to the Notekeu for adding Yellow Grass to your league. With a town of 478, a lot of their players live in Regina or Weyburn. They play in a very poor facility and are lucky to attract 50 fans to a game. Big Six teams dreaded their annual trip to Yellow Grass. The Wheat Kings won the Big Six in 2018/19 and have been competitive. In our league, Redvers has a powerhouse and is the odds on favourite to win many more titles in the next few years.
I did a google search and found the following: Yellowgrass to:
Glentworth 238 kms, Hodgeville 264 kms, Carnduff 206 kms, and Moosomin 247 kms.
Perhaps they moved because of perceived easier competition? I don't know.

50 fans? You high or just never been to a game in Yellow Grass? Rink usually has a big crowd at senior games, bigger then any other team in that shitty big 6 league. Big 6 is going to be a 4 team league soon as Carlyle and Carnduff continue to pay stupid money to players to come and then lose out in the first round of playoffs year after year.
Other then the Rink in YG (which has had work this summer). The tram is a great asset to any league and if you did you're home work you'd see that they only have to go to one of those west teams every other year, so only 2 long trips a year. the majority of games are against teams within 45 minutes of Yellow Grass.
PS they have a lot of young locals coming back.

The rink has as many/more fans at it then any other rink in the big 6 league. Gunna lose 3-5 teams in the next 2-3 years. The schedule in the new league allows yellow grass travel tk be ALOT less Yellow Grass has a lot of local kids that will be on the roster in the next 1-3 years. And Carlyle keeps paying guys stupid money and has never been out of the first round. I think we can agree on one thing, the separation of Yellow Grass from the big 6 was a mutual one, and one that both sides wanted. Not sure why the big 6 ever let Yellow Grass in, all they've ever done is complain about them even though they iced a competitive team almost every year.

Some points are correct, as for Yellow Grass drawing fans, not even close to most teams in the league

On the CDC (Coronach) Hockey Twitter page, a post was made yesterday. "With the lack of after whistle music, no game program, Yellow grass gets a 1/10 for in game experience. Can't believe the big 6 let these guys out." Any truth to that statement?
