ideally my team gets to have 5 guys, but some of the other teams only get 3 guys. I vote option 1.

The current rules as they are work, should a team(s) choose to do so. 50% of senior teams in this province aren't that interested in SHA provincials, they are more interested in having a team to help keep the lights on in the rink and a place for locals and some imports to play competitive hockey rather than a 11pm Div 3 rec game at Jemini on a Tuesday night. Then again, still have not heard a compelling reason the need to change the import rules.

I like to see more non imports. Shows some loyalty and possible relationships among the team. Rather than having so many imports that just move around to the highest bidder. Would also like a rule were an import needs to get a release to join another team within your league. Or sit out of the league for 1 year.
Would stop teams with deep pockets from poaching players within there own league. I don’t know, maybe that rule already exists. 🤷🏼♂️
