Craik loses to a stacked Redvers team in round 1 and suddenly there best are looking to go elsewhere. Some guys need to remember that half the teams in provincials lost first round. But For some guys winning is all that matters I guess.

Once craik joined the svhl there players can’t go to Davidson they should’ve went when they were still in the wheatland.

Tough luck for any local kids wanting to play senior in Davidson cause they're bringing in the reinforcments. Losing to the little brother 15 minutes to the north is unacceptable. Heard Dean Mcnabb is potentially calling it quits due to some chronic injury issues though, that would be a major blow.

There’s a lot of sad Craik guys on here complaining and I haven’t heard of a single guy from Craik going to Davidson. I heard there was a possibility of it happening but not a sure thing. We’ll see when the rosters are posted. |

Dulle wanted to play for an A provincial title last year is what I was told. When Norrish played with Kenaston in 2022 Loreburn didn’t enter and Loreburn fans showed up in force to support him. There were a couple other 19ers on the roster but didn’t dress. Kenaston did add Gay after he had played in Butte. Not a hometown guy but wasn’t a great look.

It wasn’t a good look, true, but trying to get Jones and Watkins away from Craik is way worse than an import switching to play with his buddies. All that to try and beat Kenaston. That would be devastating to Craik’s team. |

I don’t like locals leaving for money although big money is understandable, but leaving buddies behind just to win doesn’t fly with me.
However my issue here, is that I think it’s pathetic that some teams are making attempts to poach players away from there local teams that desperately needs them, especially when the team is in your league, and even worse is when the team is your neighbour.
I guess teams just have to hope there locals are stand up guys.

There isn’t very many standup guys left in senior hockey because of the money that is being offered if u r good u can get a big pay day these teams with money will do anything to win

I’ve been hearing guys saying that what Davidson is doing is just fine, as it’s not against any rules, and it’s just business, nothing personal.
First off, it’s not business, it’s senior hockey and it’s just a game.
And as far as it not breaking the rules…. Well neither is trying to hook up with your friends wife. It’s a loser move , but not against any laws. Also heard it was only for provincials.
Anyways, I imagine Davidson’s move on Craiks locals is largely exaggerated.
