This is completely false. Haines is the only guy they even looked at. Other big names they are bringing were locked in early and were playing pro last year. Two of smiths buddies i have heard. Dylan Wruck /Andrew Johnston potentially? If you think they didn’t contact a number of the Blizzard players you’re delusional. They did their due diligence as they should. Tkatch wouldn’t be an import there, if they didn’t reach out that would be silly. My sources say Haines and Mychan are Winterhawks and Johnson likely to join them if he stays home. Who would they drop if Johnston were to stay?

Johnston isn’t playing senior guys this year. Let’s be real If I remember correct, Johnston grew out outside the city, and I’m pretty sure he’d be a local

Johnston isn’t playing senior guys this year. Let’s be real If I remember correct, Johnston grew out outside the city, and I’m pretty sure he’d be a local Johnston lives in France and is still playing pro. I’m sure if he was coming back everyone would know. He would be the best player in senior by a large margin.

Get back? When was he ever in Wynyard? Hobbins is getting a knee replacement. He's out for the year. This is not correct. He had a torn meniscus which is slightly different than a knee replacement. He will be in Wadena this year.

You just never know how a pro player will adjust to Sr Hockey.

This is very true, you see guys come back from Pro and light it up, and you see guys that flop. also see guys that come out of Junior B and be excellent senior players.

From what I've seen in senior is the Jr B guys with high skill can succeed because senior lacks tremendous amounts of structure. The pro guys that struggle are the ones that can't break away from a complete game. Those pro guys are top notch and provide so much for younger guys but unless you have other pieces around them who can play disciplined hockey it can hinder them.
