Drake players WHL/CIS or Higher - C Blair, J Lawrence, A Johnson, E Roy, D Stumborg, I Schacher, A Macdonald, A Calladine, T Draude, SJHL - K Macdonald, T Mayan, N Zip, Kenaston players WHL/CIS or Higher - C Stadnyk, J Yakubowski, C Gay, J Tkatch, G Bembridge, L McVeigh, K Haines, C Adrian SJHL - E Zdunich, There are also a few players from each team that played Junior B as well. thats some stacked rosters, but Haines is the only dman for Kenaston with high end experience where Drake had stumborg roy, and Schacher. plus one of the Junior A guys (Mayan) ran away with the scoring title and was huge for drake in provs. I would pay good money to watch this series but i'm taking Drake in 3 (and i'm an LLHL fan so of course i'm biased) They all look like WHL tweeners to me other than Roy, Draude, and Johnson. Also, I think that Haugen kid played in the SJHL as well for Kenaston. The big guns on Kenaston would be something drake hasn't seen before. Also, having three ex pros on kenaston goes a long way as well. How many guys on Drake played pro level hockey? Just Roy? Kenaston just beat a very good Redvers team full of WHL, Jr A, and pro players in 2 games... all this does is tell me you haven't seen drake play.... Blair, Lawrence, Johnson, Stumborg, Schacher, Mayan are all on the level of the Kenaston guys, and Roy is the best dman on both teams by a wide margin.

Zach Z also played Junior A and was a bit of a late bloomer. As far as stats in Junior vs Sr.

None of them were ppg WHL players. Who is Drake's goalie? Obviously we are both set in stone in our views. How about if Kenaston and Kyle put a prov team together? Would they beat Drake then?

Drakes goalie is Calvin Bartel, played SJHL and a year of NCAA div 3. solid goal tender. If Kenaston and Kyle combined for provs then they'd win handily. Kenaston's league team is likely the best in the province, if not then they are top 2 for sure. what is the import rule for the SVHL?

SVHL. - followed SHA import rule. ( 3 imports & 2 naturalized ) until this season when they went straight to 5 imports.

LLHL is 4 elite (over 80 games sjhl) 4 non-elite (less than 80 games sjhl) and up to 3 (i think) naturalized. wonder how many leagues will adopt the new proposed changes, allowing 3 players that haven't played any higher than AA U18 to count as non-imports

I heard it was till on the table. I also heard it is unlikely the Prov rules, as far as imports are concerned, is unlikely to change for next season. I suppose the U18 AA could effect that though.

Not confirmed yet no, and i don't think there will be changes to the prov rules import rules for B,C,D. The roster expansion part will go through, and most likely the AA U18 rule, but aside from that don't expect any changes.
