Provincials does not affect that. League and provincials are different. Harmsworth will be an exception next season It’s still sanctioned hockey. Call up Sask Hockey and ask for yourselves. I believe he would remain an exception for league play - the league can define their own rules regarding exception status. Provincial play he would no longer be an exception for Lanigan. By the way is it “exception” or “exemption”? |

Provincials doesnt break the chain. played the full year with the pirates. its not even a grey area like Landry and Blackmur was with Leroy this year after only playing in Drake for provincials last year. By your math Litchenwald would also be reset then as well eh? Think you might be the one who needs to brush up on the league/sask hockey rules |

Once he plays 3 consecutive years, He turns into a “non import”. “exception” status is a local player that moves to a different centre, But can take the address of where his legal guardians resided when playing the last year of minor hockey. |

I emailed and asked, for provincial rules it does break the chain, for league its up to the individual league how that works. |

The exception category of players is probably going to be eliminated. It will be 5 imports. Dosnt matter how long they have played.
