I would say the score was a pretty good indication of the game. Birch Hills capitalized on some awful Eston turnovers in the first half of the game. Eston was fortunate they were not down more early. Got a breakaway goal after being short handed to start the scoring. The defensive play was not good for either team. Birch Hills looked a little short staffed, especially on the back end. Played with four Dmen mostly.

Was anyone at the game? Looked pretty back and forth on twitter. Was a good back and forth game. Both teams looked good, Eston was missing a top guy, BH was missing multiple top guys. Should be a good game next Saturday in birch hills. don’t know if I’ll make the trip from rosetown area but Eston will have their work cut out for them to finish the series I think it will come down to who gets the bounces that wins this series. Shots are 30-20 for the Ramblers.
Looks like both teams have a pretty full bench.
