I think comparing the 2 leagues is a bit early. Langenurg should remember their series against Bethune 5 4 win at home with Thompson who had a hatty. 6 1 loss in Bethune without Thompson and 10 5 win at home with him. Bethune is the bottom team in the QVHL. There provincial team is there league team with the addition of 1 rec player. Mossomin is in your league and lost to Grenfall who are in QVHL with there league team . I believe Mossomin picked up Wappela and Wawotas best and lost. So if your gonna compare leagues use your league rosters not your provincial rosters.

There’s no excuse for a beat down like that. Sure Blizz prob shut it down after the score was out of reach but give credit where credit is due. Warriors made a statement. I would expect a closer game in game 2.

There is no way to sugarcoat it. Just an ass kicking. I wonder if Kenaston looked past Langenburg a bit? They have a good team with some real firepower. It will be really interesting to see what happens Saturday in Kenaston.

Granted I didn't see the first 30 minutes of the game (tuned in when it was already 7-2), but Langenburg owned the slot. They were free to move about the offensive zone while Kenaston had very little presence in front of Langenburg's net. After what I watched online, I'd be shocked if there were a game three.

I have never seen the Blizzard in person but they do play in a good league that wins a lot of Provincials. To be 17 and 1 in SVHL regular season play, to lose 12-3 to Langenburg makes me wonder, they must be weak defensively and their goalie must have had a really off night.
If Taylor Thompson had played more than he did for Midale in the Big Six, he would have been the best player in that league. He completely destroyed an average Carlyle Cougar team in league play a few weeks ago. He did play with Midale in game one of their Big Six quarterfinals against the number one Redvers Rockets. Rockets won 5- zip and they shut him down completely. In fairness, Redvers has a strong set of D-men and have won a whopping 22 games in a row.
Really thinking Langenburg / Redvers in the "C" semi-final. Those towns are less than two hours away from each other. Should be a great series.

Unpopular opinion I take Warriors. Thompson is so good Thompson is good, but kenaston has 9 forwards that are as good or better. Hearing da blizz were missing all 9 Taylor Thompsons? Errr?

The fact that Langenburg had no Jeremy Johnson, no Carlson and also only the backup goalie in is something to see. The blizz will make it interesting but I think the warriors are favorites in the division.

Thompson is great but Langenburg fans are in for a rude awakening when he’s shutdown in games 2 n 3. Still taking da blizz in 3. All you pigeons acting like Kenaston is on par with Midale or some garbage team like that.

Langenburg, Rocanville, Theodore and Swan are all just as good if not better.
