I don’t understand why people think Langenburg would go to Kenaston to lose to “win at home” in a south semi final provincial game. provincials are hard enough. Guys are working, people take holidays (crazy this time of year) and they had a few injuries of which some were playing with. Everybody thinks that they lost in game two for the gate in game three. Why would they want to get home at 3am Saturday and play Sunday night? Also if you have ever been apart of provincials in game 3 the two teams split the gate money.

Hearing Langenburg didn’t bring their talent on Saturday because they couldn’t afford to pay them. Had to make some money with a home game to pay their 🏒and⛽️

i find that a hard rumour to believe--back when i played the imports got paid at end of month....so langenburg if they pay at end of month would have had time to find the cash...either with gate from game 3 or a league game or other creative accounting

Had to make some money with a home game to pay their 🏒and⛽️ Its possible I suppose but Its very unlikely that a team would look to cut expenses in provincials, let alone after winning game 1 in the semifinals. Teams tend to spend a little extra during provincials not cut back.

Yup, that is what teams TEND to do, but if there is NO MONEY there is NO MONEY, what is a team suppose to do at that point take out a mortgage?
