Nope. Looks like oxbow picked up Strutt and that is all.
Haygarth, Rutten and one of the Cooney’s with oxbows goals.
Carlyle pickups did most of the damage. Czerwonka had 3 goals. Reddick had 1. Gabrielle had 1. That line is got better as the game went on. Deck and J Gaudet and bear had the other goals.

2-1 Carlyle after one, 5-1 after two. Huskies made it a game scoring twice early in the third to make it 5-3 but Czerwonka scored the last three making it 8-3. Observations: Carlyle's regular big six team wouldn't have stood a chance. The line of Drew Czerwonka, 3G, 2A, Jesse Gabrielle 1G, 2A, and Kruise Reddick 1G 3 assists, could be the best forward line every assembled and watched by Big Six Hockey League fans. The Bears and Ron Cote helped their defence. Audet had a good game in net and stoned the Huskies on several crucial occasions in the game. Pot of Gold $1,285.00 with an Oxbow fan winning. Great crowd. Had the potential for chippiness but I thought Hoium and Lonsberry did a good job reffing. Oxbow 8 minors, Carlyle 6. #2 Oxbow's Tom Frasz absolutely crushed #61 Jesse Gabrielle with an open ice hit midway through and it looked like even Jesse acknowledged it as a good clean check.

10-4 Carlyle final. Period scores 2-1, 6-3 and 10-4. The Cougars dominated play and frankly Levesque was not stellar in net.
Clean game except for when #18 Drew Czerwonka apparently elbowed #9 Brody Haygarth to the head 13 minutes in. He received a 5 minute major and a game misconduct for interference. Brody suffered a concussion and did not return. A couple of other Huskies suffered injuries and their bench was depleted early on.
Carlyle had D man Austin Bourhis in the lineup and he had a good game. So did d-man Valdez Bear with 2 and 2. Brett Turgeon took Czerwonka's place on the big line and added three assists. Jesse Gabrielle had 3 goals and 2 assists. He got in an altercation with 14 minutes remaining in the third and was given a 10 minute misconduct. He was asked to leave the ice and Cougar fans thankful he didn't return for the final 4. Kruise Reddick quietly with 1 goal and 6 assists. Reddick is such a talent. The younger Huskies were overwhelmed by the older experienced Cougars and their pickups.
Was the largest crowd in Carlyle for years which I estimated at 800. Over 200 Husky fans and at least 100 Ochapowace fans. Pot of gold was bolstered by a local business and was $2,800.00. Won by a Rocanville fellow which seemed strange. He was down in the area working an oil rig and came to the game. Kudos to Nicole Currie of the Cougars. The best sound booth announcer in the Big Six Hockey League, bar none. Lights out as always, Nicole!
Congrats to Carnduff in game one at home over Central Butte. Down 3-2 after two, Red Devils stormed back with three straight to win 5-3.
