Watrous outplayed them in the first period which was surprising. Wynyard was the better team in the 2nd for sure and a pretty even 3rd. Watrous had a couple chances to put this game away but couldn't score but ended up winning anyways

Watrous has the worst supporting cast I have ever team. How they were able to win this is a mystery. Goalie must’ve stood on his head all night. Watrous only has two players that can score.

Watrous outplayed Wynyard handily in the 1st period, were flying around hitting and forechecking hard. 2nd period Wynyard was the better team and 3rd period was really even, lots of good chances both ways. Watrous goalie made a couple unreal saves on what should have been a back door tap in for Bauml.
--kind of funny that the most gentlemanly player for the LLHL took a 4 minute spearing penalty.
--Thomas must have played 40 minutes with Jesse forsberg not there. think he had a hat trick
--watrous finally had a full bench
--Woody Klassen & Topham make a huge difference on the back end for Watrous
--heard after the game from a watrous parent that the U15 team has a playoff game in wynyard tonight at 7 pm... not sure how an 8:30 start for the senior game will work.
--Wynyard defence got exposed last night, Forsberg is such a huge part back there.
also heard that no forsberg again tonight either.
