I see Leroy won 12-7, was 11-2 at one point. What the heck is going on with foam lake?

They really only get scoring from one line. They have a couple good dmen and an average tender. They just aren't a great team. If boyer/Wapple were still there they'd probably make some noise but after losing both of them, peppler etc, they just aren't that strong.

Since the start of last season the team has lost Boyer Wapple Bulych x 2, Breikrietz, Peppler. pretty hard to compete when you lose that kind of firepower in a 12 month span.

As far as “what’s going on with foam lake”. Easy to play against. Run and gun hockey. Doesn’t work when they’re only scoring 5-7 goals a game. |

foam lake slow start out the gates, slow start after Christmas -> big game for their guys tonight they need to start getting some mojo if they are going to be competitive this year and try defend their title.
Prediction - Foam Lake 8 Wadena 5
foam lake wins and the middle teams get a little closer yet

Prediction - Foam Lake 8 Wadena 5 foam lake wins and the middle teams get a little closer yet Pretty close on the prediction- big win for the Flyers against their old FLHL rival. Lots of penalties early including a charging major by FL - both teams capitalized on their PPs. FL got a couple late ones in the 2nd 5 on 5 as the TSN turning point, then 2 more PP goals in the 3rd to seal it. Sentes had a strong game between the pipes after not getting much help in the previous two games vs Drake & Leroy. |
