mainly watch LLHL games, but have watched Kenaston, Eston & Loreburn from the SVHL this year. Kenaston would be absolutely right at the top of the LLHL. they are a damn good team. Eston is ok and would be mid pack in LLHL. Seems like the LLHL ended up with quite a few good players that were in the SVHL last year. Comes down to money... the teams in the LLHL that yap about not paying big money are full of shit.... and thats the only reason there would be any disparity... money. you compare locals to locals and the leagues are pretty even.

From what I have heard the goalie that Redvers picked up is supposed to be one of the best in the province despite playing on a horrible team. Also their D is easily comparable to Davidson’s. Probably the second best group of forwards behind Kenaston. I think they can legitimately give Kenaston a run of their pickups are confirmed. I don’t think Davidson will be a problem for the blizz. Yeah Redvers get a goalie from Watrous and he is their hero. Dymterko is a damn good goalie... he sees so many in shots in Watrous... their defence is swiss cheese. he pitched a shutout in their only win of the year.... he will surprise a lot of folks in provincials. |

Some drama between Kinistino and Birch Hills. How’s it going to work when they are fighting on the ice on a Friday in league playoffs and then hopping on the bus Saturday to go play provincials together?

Kinistino and Birch Hills joining for provincials has never once worked out. Pretty good goalie tilt at the end of the game which no doubt had the crowd heated up. Birch Hills goaltender should stick to playing goal because he took a dirty licken! It's always been a good rivalry between these 2 towns.

Birch hills goalie most certainly didn’t win the fight, but it was a long way from a dirty licken. I m a fan of the old school hockey there. Always fun to watch, unless you’re a fake hockey fan. |

Birch Hills/ Kinistino didn’t exactly tear it up last year, be interesting to see if there is any bad blood in the room after 2 rough games. Not sure they will have the top line talent to compete with some of the teams in C, gunna have to lean on the depth..

I’m not really plugged in or connected to Birch Hills, just an outsider looking in so someone can maybe fill me in. I didn’t watch any of their provincial games last year when they went with Kinistino so I can’t comment on that… but I can’t help but wonder why they didn’t go on their own like they did in 2020. I was able to watch all of their home provincial games that year and they looked to be unstoppable. That was only 3 years ago so I’m assuming those players are still young enough to give it another shot? Has their league team roster changed a lot over the last 3 years? They were 1 win away from the provincial final and they decide to go in a different direction? As a Kinistino fan I’m hopeful they can find Mojo together. #GOTIGERS #GOHAWKS

I would bet that Kinistino plays BH in the east final of the TRHL and that might make it tough for them in provincials but wtf really knows. Time will tell!
