This draw is a joke! South is loaded and the north is weak. Arguably the 4 strongest teams in the south and 2 will be sent home after the first round. SHA needs to do away with this coin toss draw. Rank the teams 1 -11 and the play a bracket style like every other sport does to declare a champion!

As I mentioned in A section, I'd sure as hell like to sit in on a draw one day. Kenaston vs Davidson the marque draw...worth the drive to watch that series and huge crowds for both rinks. But an opening round draw, damn! Predictions:
North
Eston vs Dinsmore
South
Redvers vs Kenaston
Final
Dinsmore vs Kenaston
C Champ...Kenaston

With the low numbers of teams in the draws you are always going to have some first round matchups you would expect to be later on. Could of maybe sent Kenaston to Langenburg and Davidson to Bethune instead but all you gain is one round for Kenaston and Davidson to meet. |

It’s unfortunate that Davidson Redvers and kenaston are easily the three best teams and none of them can meet in the finals. No reason kenaston couldn’t have been in the North side.

I heard they picked up two retired players (one former Blue and one Naicam), 1 Tisdale, 2 Foam Lake and 1 Lanigan which isn’t going to be enough to knock off the defending champs. If they can keep it to a touch down I’d call it a win. |

You would move Dinsmore down south where they should be. Eston and Dinsmore both south of Kenaston. It’s not all north/south. Also split east/west in a ways. Move Dinsmore and you have a replay of the final first round. Point is you will always have someone pissed off. No win situation. If you want to be the champion just win. Doesn’t matter who you play first round when there are only 3 rounds. |

I hear Birch Hills added Kinistino guys again but that hasn't worked out in the past very well. I believe a few guys from Rosetown went to Outlook last year for a banner and I see that Outlook didn't enter this year so did the Outlook guys go to Rosetown this year? I doubt any of this really matters as I think the winner of Kenaston/Davidson takes the crown.
