Great back and fourth action in overtime. Both teams had multiple chances to win. Shields made a few big saves as well. Leroy’s top line was great. Leedahl excellent player

Yes this was an excellent game & ot was unreal.the one big disappointment from this game was the 1 brutal ref with a glove on one hand who tried to ruin a good game.i can say that now cause the pirates won lol.great job by the pirates this weekend winning both of there games

Yes this was an excellent game & ot was unreal.the one big disappointment from this game was the 1 brutal ref with a glove on one hand who tried to ruin a good game.i can say that now cause the pirates won lol.great job by the pirates this weekend winning both of there games Refs are at a huge shortage right now, they’d be happy to see a keyboard warrior like you put the stripes on. |

But this is the head of the llhl reffing put there making these awful calls. Absolute garbage. Multiple penalties that should never have been called and had a big effect on an otherwise extremely entertaining game |

What’s gotten in to these Pirates? Three straight wins! Cheeseburger must have started running some practices over the Christmas break!!!

My two cents…. Shields made some good saves, but so did Leroy’s goalie, both teams had some real good chances . Not meant to be a ref bashing comment but if you call a 4 min pen on a team, in a tie game, with 3:30 left in the third, you had better be 100% sure it’s the right call. I didn’t think it was right but I’m sure every Leroy fan did. Lots of teams would have thru in the towel here, good on the pirates to kill it off and win(Leroy was out coached here folks). Pirates potted two shorties tonight and that was the difference
