I’ve been watching the pirates for 35 plus years l. I have never ever wanted them to lose. I’ve said they aren’t good when a couple people on here said they are decent. The truth hurts yes, but the pirates are not a good team

Sadly I have to agree with cheeseburger. Tough team to watch this year. Might head down to LeRoy a few more times than normal this winter to watch some competitive games instead.

Tough Loss, wasn’t at the game but I’m sure that the Pirates were wishing they had Lamont Tran and Funk tonight. Injury plagued team this early in the season can be heartbreaking. Bounce back tomorrow vs Drake. Going to be a decent 50/50 so maybe don’t jump ship to Leroy quite yet.

Fellas, fellas don’t confuse my words. I’m not jumping in Leroy’s bandwagon. I’ve always been a pirates fan. But reality is if they’re not going to be competitive, I’d rather go watch a close exciting game instead of watching a blowout.

I guess I was a little harsh when I asked for my admission back couple weeks ago. I will always support the pirates even when they are losing. But It’s been six years now or so Since they have been competitive. It falls on management to get the team competitive. We all know how senior works. I’ve helped out for years. If you can get one elite forward then he brings his buddies so on and so on. Surely you would think harmsworth or shields would know some people who are really good.

Sadly cheeseburger the management thinks junior b players are good enough to get it done not sure why they haven’t figured it out yet… just wait till they go in “A” provincials again thinking they have too much pride to go in anything else
