Time for wadena and craik to put there big boy pants on and join a tougher league, there is no reason for wadena and craik to be in the wheatland. Why doesn’t wadena want to join the LLHL? craik could easily be in the svhl or llhl also. What fun is walking over the rest of the teams minus kinistino and maybe tisdale. The nooner gives the “waygons” all the love but cmon. Join the better league and see how you guy is fair lol

I don’t think Wadena has won anything in the wheat land. Yes on paper they are good. But they have won a half dozen games since joining. Last year looked promising. But covid got in the way.

They were stacked I agree with that but like others have said, prior to last year, they won a handful of games since joining the league. Close to Dundurn level of play.

Rumour has it the Waygons loaded up even more from last year, The Bakery must have had a good year for the boys to keep recruiting.

As others have mentioned, for Wadena to be taken seriously they need to join a better league or have some success in provincial play. Smoking everyone in the Wheatland proves nothing

Smoking everyone in the Wheatland proves nothing My guess is that the import rule favours them in wheatland. If they join the long lake they don’t have as strong as team

Wadena over hyped might finish third in the wheatland at best.

They need 7 import spots to compete, it’s a joke. This league is getting out of hand. Feel sorry for Jansen, Hanley etc. But in all honestly they should be in the llhl.

It all comes down to money spent. The teams in the north have done a great job of finding supporters to pay the bills. Jansen, Hanley, Allan could all stay competitive doing the same thing. Pretty easy to stack a team with this leagues import rules, albeit, those import rules were made at a time when this league was dying because teams couldn’t find guys. Now this league is dwindling because teams can’t afford the payroll for 6 stud imports. Be interesting to see if they make any changes in the coming years to that import rule

I got craik and kinistino ahead of them. And I think a couple other teams will put up good battles with them.
