What’s your thoughts on the SVHL and LLHL, both denying the Craik warriors a place in there leagues. 2 obvious factors appear to be there old rink, and that there on the outside edge in both leagues so there a lot of added travel. Ironically loreburn has issues with Craiks rink, and apparently central butte thinks the same. And more ironically ,,,Newly accepted Wadena (who shouldn’t even have a vote) and Wynyard and foam lake all said no because of travel . But when there league including Davidson who has a very long travel to there rinks said yes to them.
When others small towns are ok with the possibility of other towns losing there teams for good , And the seeming never ending money spent for senior hockey players, I’m afraid senior hockey will disappear for good in small communities
Do you think a proven good team year after year should have been accepted in either of these leagues ?

I agree somewhat, either league should of taken them in. But sometimes I wonder if it’s not the barn and only the reputation of certain players? Haven’t they trashed dressing rooms etc? U also see certain players on social media saying the stupidest shit directed towards others. Who would want those guys in a top league?

Wadena didn't get a vote when Craik applied to LLHL

Craik Pulled their second attempt at applying to LLHL before the league meeting. First vote was a 3-3 tie but needs majority to enter league. Never came to or spoke at a meeting for LLHL so obviously wasn't high on their priority list...

Can confirm LLHL had invited Craik to League meetings to present application, but they wanted to see what SVHL said first, then pulled out of the meeting the morning of meeting.....

Without a full lineup theres only 2 teams the Warriors would compete with in the LLHL. And from what I heard it would have been a scramble to try and buy a few players to change that. Plain and simple Loreburn and Butte made personal decisions they thought were best for there own teams. I would love to hear what exactly lead to those decisions. My best guess would be the boys from Butte are too busy trying to make sure everyone knows Clarke Wilm is still from there. And the Loreburn fellas are still mad about losing a rec game 8 years ago. My 2 cents but they quit making pennies.

They'd have had a better shot if they could have brought another team with them (Hanley? Davidson?), so that the SV could go to 2 divisions of 6.
