Sounds like the Hawks were trying to pick up some big names from other teams in the league and make a go for it. It will definitely be interesting to see who lands where when the season gets underway. Like who? Not many imports in this league to move around. |

Looking at this league, I don’t see many players who would even crack top 6 on a roster in the more competitive leagues. Not great hockey.

Who gives a shit, it's a bunch of guys who want to drink beer and get out of the house to support their rink. There is no Saskatoon or Regina to draw players from like the other leagues. |

Derek Thomas back in Shaunavon. Adam Antkowiak back in Leader. Cody and Justin Spagrud in Gull Lake. BJ Somerville in Eatonia. Blake Martyniuk Joel rumpel and some young ex junior players joining dulle in cabri. I heard the Zack smith rumour about provincials.... doubtful on league but if he did that would also be a big improvement. Definitely a more talented league than last year Who is Derek Thomas lol |

I assume cabri didn’t have a very good lineup but it sure looks like the hounds will be atop the league most the year based on their roster

Eatonia over Frontier 2-0 but French keeps it close in Frontier
Hawks over Leader 2-0
