Those things can happen with a new team. Looks like a very local team which will benefit them in the long run. A lot more than other teams can say. Look at the Glaslyn Medstead Red Pheasent North Battleford Cut Knife Saskatoon Meota Combines. Revolving door of players. Kind of brutal really. Considering the Blues have as big of Center they stick to a pretty local team, which is props to them.

Meota consistently has had the same core since they came into this league.

Redbeery will be fine over time for exactly what was stated. The team is very young and most haven t played organized hockey for a number of years, it ll be a learning curve and I'm sure they will aquire more and some better players as the years go. Heard a rumour also that once hawks fold a number of those players making the jump. There will be bumps in the road but the kid running it (Adam Horner) is young and in it for the long haul. This team is exactly why this league was made to allow those small towns to field a team of mostly local men who still want to play competitive hockey. Good on them and glad they are part of the league.

I agree they’re good for the league. My original post wasn’t meant to be a dig at them, was a genuine question as I haven’t got to watch them play yet. Just going by the stats I’ve seen on the website and didn’t recognize a pile of names so wasn’t sure if they had some elite players who hadn’t made it out yet or if that was their team. Good to hear they’re young and I hope they stick with it as the first few years can be tough.

Just read an article in battleford now about the combines. Cadrain in article says they ve picked up Jake McMillan and Blake tatchell to go along with waskewich. That's a great jr 3 some. Also says albert is returning but I see he's still in Rosthern for now. Has 15 points in 6 games. Wonder if he is coming back or not. Seem to be the team to beat as of now.

Just got Meota roster, and I think it's safe to say they got better. Some guys returning who played in past years, a lot of returning guys, I think by quick glance only 2 guys new to the league. One is McMillan who played Jr, and the other played jr b.

Tictactoe you’ve said some dumb sh!t on here but that may take the cake. What you said made zero sense. Pick a side and stay there. You change your mind more than crust filled shorts.
