Are any teams that took leave of absence returning? Like Naicam, Jansen, Hanley or Kinistino? Hanley and Kinistino had both joined the Twin Rivers League last year.
Naicam and Jansen have posted absolutely nothing on their facebook pages recently. Does anyone post on Facebook anymore? |

Hanley and Kinistino had both joined the Twin Rivers League last year.
Naicam and Jansen have posted absolutely nothing on their facebook pages recently. Both Hanley and Kinistino took a leave of absence. So, they could decide to come back. They took a leave to join the Twin Rivers League.
Kinistino went 11-5-0-0 and lost in division finals, Hanley went 6-9-0-1 and lost in division semifinals

I heard through the grapevine that Nipawin officially applied to join the league.

Hopefully this Nipawin Knights team fares better than the old Knights team from the Pasquia Hockey League days.

Nipawin joining will guarantee no south teams
Ever come back. Next year if not this there
Will only be nipawin Hbay porcupine and tisdale
And will fold when tisdale leaves.

Do you think Jansen gets back in now with Kinistino coming back and Nipawin requesting to join?
Seems like a pretty nice Northern league with Jansen(Nokomis) kind of on an island. Closest game would be
Bruno at 120km.
St Brieux 150km
Kinistino 200km
Tisdale 220km
Porcupine 240km
Nipawin 275km
Hudson Bay 332km

If the rumors of Kinistino and Nipawin getting into the league are true, I wonder how Bruno will stick around in this league? looks like a northern takeover.... I could see Bruno applying to twin rivers, much closer travel for them. they already applied and were rejected, but if kinistino goes back to the wheatland, maybe Bruno can replace them. |
