What would SHA have to do with a leagues standings. Nothing. True. The league would be the one making the decision. So Wilkie controls the entire league decision making??? No other teams have the ability to say how league standings are decided?

No other teams have the ability to say how league standings are decided? Well, when you say it that way, it really makes the Wilkie Outlaws organization bad. How can one team have that much pull to change the tiebreaker rules and have no pushback? Maybe teams tried? 🤷🏻♂️🤷♀️

The tie breaking format isn't controlled by the league. There is a formula that SHA has, if your going to complain phone them, they are the ones who have set that in place. If wilkie didn't have 2 OT losses they would have been 3rd.

If wilkie didn't have 2 OT losses they would have been 3rd. From my understanding SHA has their tie breaking procedure in their handbook. A league could enact its own procedure or adopt the one provided by SHA. It would be up to the league to enforce whatever tie breaking procedure it has adopted. It’s not up to SHA to enforce a league’s rules(unless the league requests SHA intervention or a formal complaint is placed). The league itself would be in charge of enforcing its tie breaking procedure. All the people here whining about Wilkie are in la la land if they think Wilkie can control the leagues decisions. Every team has equal representation on the league executive and votes on all important matters. The final standings would have been approved by majority vote of all teams.

Come on, the league standings were set… not even a day later Wilkie played their first league playoff game before anyone could try and dispute it. Look at the GM of the league, 0 coincidence to Wilkie.
End of day kindersley should have had home ice advantage, now would that have helped them??? No one will ever know

Kinda hard for the league to remove or fine wilkie when the league commissioner himself is from wilkie & has close family relatives on the team. Its always been wilkie's league. whatever they want they get, that simple. Just learn to live with knowing thats how it works

If thats true then it’s again not Wilkie’s fault for the stupidity of the rest of the towns represented.

So what you are saying is that Wilkie outsmarted the rest of the towns in the league to take second place. I don’t think expecting fair play should be called “ stupidity of the rest of the towns represented”. Pretty greasy!!

Wilkie outsmarted every other team in the league who don’t create any league bylaws because they trust in the fair play of the others. Oh boy 🙄

Isn’t wins the first deciding factor? Then head to head? Then goals for and against ? No it is not. It’s wins in head to head games, then wins, then gf ga formula. If 3 teams are tied it’s wins from games played between tied teams, then wins, then gf ga
