Absolutely overrated. Put him in an all star game like is being developed in this thread and he would do zippo/nadda. None of the teams come into a game against Kenaston and say we have to focus on Yakubowski. His linemates do the work and make the moves and he stands in front of the net and pounds in the goals. Nothing wrong with that - it gets him goals but in terms of skill and talent there are much better hockey players around Saskatchewan. So teams aren't circling the league leader in points on an undefeated team because you say he’s overrated? If that’s true, I’m sure Yak and the Blizzards would want to give thanks to such a poor strategy |

Yakubowski is the best player in the league. I'm not sure many who watch the league consistently would disagree with that.

You take your focus off the other more talented players and their point totals would be higher than Yakubowski’s. He is not the best player on the team. |

Who cares! I’d have him on my team any day! He’s a good player. I personally don’t know much about the teams down south. Would like to know the best players down there.

Yakubowski is a very good player who plays hard. He’s having a great year. Yes he does play with two other excellent players in McVeigh and Bembridge. But no one accomplishes much in hockey alone. Last year McVeigh was the hot hand and led the league in points, this year it’s Yakabowski. Still managed a big night Saturday against Eston without McVeigh (who I believe is hurt and out for a while).
