Congratulations to the Saskatoon Canucks! Hats off to the Los Angeles Broncs for a good showing as well. Too bad their best player didn't have the class to stay on the ice and shake hands after the game. It was certainly a great series of hockey to watch, no matter which team you were cheering for. |

He was Probably going to check to see if he still had any teeth left after the ref missed a blatant high stick late in the game…heard it was 8-0 Drake for Powerplays.. tough to play a game against a good team when the refs become color blind.

A powerplay or two for meadow could have changed things for sure. Meanwhile, Drake scored 2 (maybe 3) powerplay goals. |

Congrats to the Canucks on an awesome win, and congrats to the Meadow Lake Broncs for an awesome series… Drake is now the first team in Saskatchewan Senior Hockey history to win the A, B, C, and D titles, winning each of them since 2010… an amazing stat for a hockey dynasty of 200 people, congrats Drake!

You gotta Leave the town of 200 people out of it when 85% or more is being pulled out of a community of 300000 people. It still is impressive but not as impressive when most of your team is from Saskatoon. It’ll be more impressive when Wilkie does it in the next couple of years with 85% of the boys born and raised in Wilkie… never the less Congrats and enjoy that banner!

The blair boys are good and good on that family for putting in the work in that community to have a very successful senior hockey organization. No not always the refs fault.. but anytime the calls go 8-0 in a hard fought game between two good teams.. one has to wonder.. I wasn’t at the game but I heard rumblings that one of the two refs apologized to meadow for having to watch the other ref ruin a good game.. never a good look… one of those what if situations. Lil bit of a cloud over a really good evenly matched series. |

Meadow didn’t get one power play? Typical in that barn. When you got the Drake bench yelling the whole game they always get the calls. Been said all year they are a bunch of whiners. And the 200 population blah blah blah, 95 percent of the team ain’t from Drake.
