Can someone shed some light on why/how pateman can be playing on balcarres right now?? He was playing with southey well after the Dec. 30 deadline.

Im not saying I know for sure, but I’m guessing he is an emergency goalie because Spooner hurt his knee last game. Not sure about other healthy goalies in Balcarres though. Where’s Brothen? |

I legit think that spooner and brother are hurt but you can’t just grab a elite goalie from another team?? Why would southey agree to that? Was pateman playing in the Prov games?
