Is dinsmore going to get another free pass here or what are people thinking? Looking at the standings in these leagues and rosthern only beat porcupine plain by one each game and pp seemed to have close games with Hanley and dinsmore handled them very easily

Dinsmore should win this in 2 straight, only thing Rosthern has going for them in this series is their Defence situation but when you got Bosch in net that kinda trumps any advantage Rosthern has. As far as forwards Dinsmore has the advantage there

Dinsmore has edge on forward. Rosthern has edge on backend. Both with solid goalies. Dinsmore looks better on paper but Rosthern has some underated forwards. Either a battle or Dinsmores offense overpowers. I haven’t seen Dinsmores goalie but Rostherns sure kicks out rebounds. Only gave up a goal each game to PP but from what I saw he wasn’t facing many high danger chances and the posts saved him a couple times.

I think this series is closer than most people will think. The Twin Rivers league doesn’t get much love. Their import rules are ridiculous, and the top half of this league remains competitive. If Thiessen plays net for Rosthern this series is a toss up to me. Waldheim being eliminated from playoffs helps. I think Dinsmore wins in 3, but people will be surprised with how close this is.

Dinsmore will win with ease. Dynamos in 2.

Rosthern wins 5-3 and were missing 4 top players. Shots 29-28. Wow. Never seen that one coming.

Decent game Rosthern works hard though. Two soft goals by the Dinsmore goalie one from outside the blue line.

What happened in the game last night? Good for Rosthern to get the the win. Thought Dinsmore forwards would take the series over.

Rosthern was missing their best forward (Hildabrandt) and top dman (Swenson) amongst others as well. Dinsmore had a full line up. Branden Thiessen played goal for Rosthern and had a strong game. Schmidt from Waldheim played great for them as well, their Waldheim guys played a solid game in general. Rosthern had 4 d and two of them didn't really belong on that ice last night. Rosthern played tough, skated hard, and seemed to have good structure. As I said earlier, I think this series will be a lot closer than people think.
Dinsmore played horrible in the first. Rebounded in the second but their stud goalie (Bosch) let a couple weak ones in to begin the third. He kept them in it for 40 minutes in my opinion. I didn't even know DaSilva was on the ice last night and he was there. Atkinson and those Uhrich brothers looked good.
All in all should make for a good series. I stand by Dinsmore in 3, their fire power will end up being to much for Rosthern to hold off.

Dinsmore hadn’t played in 9 days. Maybe had some rust to their game? That said, Rosthern clearly has a solid squad and shouldn’t be looked down on. Dynamos have no room for error now.

Should be a close game tonight. Sounds like Rosthern was missing some guys and Dinsmore didn't play their best hockey in game 1. I figured Dinsmore would win this series easily but I think Rosthern might close this out tonight if they bring a full squad. Sounds like a nice $2000 up for grabs for game 2.
