No Bembridge for kenaston tonight which is a big loss but all things considered they created more chances and probably deserved to win. Macklin outworked kenaston for much of the game and that was ultimately the difference. Macklin goalie made some big saves in the third to save the win.

The lesson to be taken away from yesterday’s hockey and for teams in the SVHL is don’t get to cocky. The teams that go in with a little to much confidence and not enough heart usually have to pay the price.

Why does it have to be that they took them lightly? Give both teams a little credit. Kenaston wasn’t awful and Macklin is a first place team in a good league. It was a one goal game for god’s sake. Macklin is a good team, it’s not a huge upset to win a game. I’m so tired of these massive over reactions. Macklin will be the first ones to tell you the series is far from over. Let’s hold off on the playing with heart BS until the series is over. Drake got smoked at home by Milestone Friday. Isn’t anyone allowed to have an off night or god forbid, have an opposing team play a good game and beat them.

I think Macklin playing the 3rd in a row will be tough. Kenaston by 3 is my guess. 6-3.
