When are the next meetings to see if minor and senior hockey gets to start back up in 2021. Anyone know?

When are the next meetings to see if minor and senior hockey gets to start back up in 2021. Anyone know? There is a board meeting on Saturday but given the current government mandate, It may be slightly premature to discuss the when, the If probably will be discussed. |

There was a rumour going around after tonight’s world junior game, hockey Canada was pulling the plug on everything for the rest of the season.

With the announcement today that the govt is extending the restrictions until Jan 29 I think we can safely say that the life support plug has been pulled on the season.
The chances of the case load dropping to a manageable level for the resumption of team sports (manageable in the govts eyes) in 2 weeks is impossible. Couple that with the willingness for some to bother with a month or two long season and we have to admit she is all over but the crying....

In case everyone did not see. On Jan 13th SHA sent a memo that return to play will not be considered for 4 weeks. And it also stated that it is unlikely that return to play will happen before the end of March.
