Why is the QVHHL so quiet on this site? Its undoubtedly one of the better leagues in the province, but seems like there's no interest in it.

Been that way even on the old website as well. Not sure why no one posts to the QVHHL forum?

I think there is a strong argument for all of the above, depending on what criteria you use. Is it the best hockey night in night out, parity, the best teams? Style of play could also come into play, as well as the overall hockey culture. Very subjective. How many people actually see games in multiple leagues? Provincials are tough to include in the mix as rosters change, but league success would definitely be a factor. Share your criteria with your choice, for example:
SVHL - Top high end teams, lots of parity in the top 2/3rds of the league. Entertaining rivalries. Ability to attract quality players that can be worth the price of admission in several barns. Always has contenders for provincial banners in more than 1 division.
....and go....

I believe the four best leagues are what the admin has in his poll. Steeballs analysis could be said for all four of those leagues. They could all be called super leagues lol I say the long lake is over qvhhl cause it pisses people off 😂

I'd say Sask West has the most parity out of their top 5 teams, if Hafford ices full roster. Maybe not the same top end talent you see in Kenaston, Drake, Milestone though. Will have teams with a solid chance for banners in B and D

Hopeful to make the trip up to Kenaston this saturday. 1st in the SVHL VS 1st in the SWHL, be cool to see the two top teams in each league go at it. But i also guess you have to minus the guys kenaston picked up for provys. should still be a great matchup in my opinion.

With all due respect to Macklin, who are an elite team in the Prov, I’d say Wilkie is the best team in the Sask West. All 3 teams are tied at the top but to be the best you have to beat the best. But, Wilkie did lose their last 3 games of the season so what do I know. Should be a good series between Macklin and Kenaston.

All I was basing my opinion on was league standings as of the end of 2021-2022 season.
