Best is warman since they use legends and worst is craik Been to Warman's rink, its a pretty nice rink. probably the only Sr rink in sask that would gice Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex a go for best rink in Sask. I think the diffrence makers would be that OChapowace rink has complete seating on both sides & digital lazer show during intermissions and team entrance. plus the big 4 sided score clock at centre of rink. |

Anyone know what rink Meota plays in? What about Kinderlsey? Just wondering if anyone currently plays in an SJ barn.

Unless it has no atmosphere Out dated rink, still nice, but hardly any atmosphere. If they get 500 in there, which hardly ever happens, it still is less than half empty. I'd rather see a 300-400 capacity rink filled. |

The biggest, nicest, newest, isn't always the best. New facilities are typically nice but dressing rooms, ice surface, atmosphere, etc. must be considered as as well.
Best- Shaunavon, Rosetown (character barn), Ochap, Grenfell
Worst- Craik, Hodgeville, Yellow Grass, Hafford (what a dungeon)
missing a few but those are some goods and bads. Won't count the SJ barns and legends as "senior" barns

Haffords ice is legit and well lit. Definitely not one of the worst barns for sure.

Balgonie has one of the best forsure, visited there on weekend nice little gem!
worst Hodgeville, cant believe they play senior in that rink....dundurn was bad too when they played there a few years back

Craik is the obvious answer here followed by Hodgeville based on rinks i've seen in the last 15 years.

Meadow lake had to be up there for one of the best before it burnt down. Older barn, but held over 1k, and they packed it all the time, unreal atmosphere. That town loves their senior hockey!

They really do, I was up there this last weekend, a 9:45 game time, in a nothing game, and the rink in Flying Dust was packed. |

Worst- All of Wheatland South, especially when Dundurn was in there. Dundurn is obviously the worst but Hanley/Allan/Jansen (Nokomis) all have good rinks when that was Wheatland south. Porcupine Plain gets my vote for best rink. Just the benches are small af. Wadena is nice too especially with the new dressing rooms. |
