this fella has created a map on google maps outlining all the leagues and teams in SK. was explaining this to a work colleague in manitoba and he was blown away. Its a pretty safe bet that if you were to average it out across all the leagues/teams that $1000 a game in payroll is pretty reasonable and honestly likely low as there are only a few leagues that don't pay players. when you add in the other costs to teams like league fees, Hockey Sask fees, refs, fuel, travel that were looking at 5-6 million a winter getting spent on senior hockey. pretty wild.

Senior Hockey in Saskatchewan. Only thing keeping some of these town’s alive. We always stop at some of the local stores, fuel, etc.

We always stop at some of the local stores, fuel, etc. Those towns will greatly appreciate all the out of towners stopping for a bite to eat, fueling up and getting beers at whatever hole in the wall they'll have. A lot of these businesses don't see a lot of action, but when they leave/close down, it cripples small towns. |

Swan valley to wappella is a good 2 hours 45 minutes. A few other towns 2+ hours away. But HB to nokimis must take the cake. |

Hodgeville to Radville in the notekeu is 270kms or 310 if they go up around through Moose Jaw. Which I belive they voted yes on accepting radville because of road trips through casino MJ lol
